From serving in the United States Air Force for over 9 years to being employed as a Fellow in the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy (OSTP), Andrew has and continues to explore ways to protect and improve society through the wise application of science and technology; from autonomous vehicles to agriculture. He has cultivated a deep commitment to science, technology, innovation, sustainability and the professional development of future generations through his many experiences at OSTP, Georgia Institute of Technology, Arizona State University, and more.
Mission: To bring awareness to and explore solutions derived from science and technology to address the means of integrating technological advancements for the amelioration of society, and further to cultivate future generations' interest science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) professions.

Passion
Andrew Hanus has had a zeal in preserving the environment since he was a child growing up in small-town Ohio. His fascination and attraction to science and technology blossomed during his military service, academic pursuits, and civic service profession. He remains steadfast in his pursuit to address important issues from soil preservation, innovation strategies, to national defense. Further, he aims to inspire others to advance their own goals through inward reflection and self-discovery.
Education
Currently in pursuit of a dual master's in Public Policy and City & Regional Planning from the Georgia Institute of Technology, Andrew attained his Bachelor's of Science in Science and Technology Policy at Arizona State University, his Criminal Justice Associate in Applied Science at the Community College of the U.S. Air Force, and his Paralegal certificate from the National Paralegal College.
